I am a freelance visual art curator & researcher now based in Cape Town, South Africa. I enjoyed a research fellowship at the Van Abbe Museum (Eindhoven, the Netherlands) in 2017 where I researched Ernest Mancoba (1904-2002) & CoBrA (the European art movement 1949-1951). I struggled to find images of Mancoba's artworks so this site is an informal database of the images I've found, from his earliest works through to his late period, in hopes it helps other researchers, curators and scholars.
